Very much disagree with this. There is a HUGE jump you're making from 1k to 100k... you think an article with 70k views isn't viral? What would you call it... popular?

I think anything over 10k can be considered viral... based on the number of readers who have found it and on Medium an article with that much traction is sure to make you between 500-$1000 USD. If you're saying ONLY articles with 100k views that make something like 10k USD should be considered viral... that's just an absurdly high bar. 1k is just popular, I'll give you that... but 20k is viral... 50k is viral... 100k is SUPER MEGA VIRAL CRAZINESS.
