Too true. In a lot of facebook wrtiers groups a common question is ... "can I still be a good writer if I don't read?" ... and I usually chime in to be like... nah... you probably can't be a good cook if you don't eat food. I've taken little notes and nuances from ALL of my favorites and reading is the one thing I do daily that I know is improving my craft as a writer.
