Sounds like a tough meeting... i take way more stock in overall ratings and reviews across amazon and goodreads for my memoir. Luckily, the few book clubs I was apart of as the author were aimed for travelers (which is what my memoir is about) ... but sounds like the audience and vibe was off from the start.
