Interesting insight. As a white guy I don't really feel like I can write from that perspective, but I do understand what you mean. My first closest friend in Puerto was a black man from South Africa named Shaky... he left, but still a brother to me in this life. I remember him talking about how being black in Mexico was a joy because he didn't feel judged or treated differently because of his race. Thanks for reading and responding. <3
