In a lot of conversations about Mexico <> US relations right now "go back to the states" is a pretty common position for Mexican people to take (Mexico city is filling with gringos and prices are rising in certain areas) but I just tend to think "go back to where you came from" is never a good position to take... if you flip it around and picture someone from the states telling a mexican person to "go back where you came from"... we all know who that person is. Its a different dynamic for sure, but if you think "go back where you come from" is the right side of history maybe you only get to eat food created in your country of origin :)
