Ahhh I just disagree so much with your take here ... like, traveling FOR SURE increases the amount of memories and new connections you make week to week or month to month... which is how I would describe truly LIVING. I experienced more life in any one year on the road then I would in three years living a stagnant 9-5 type of life in a city in the States, stuck in routines and prioritizing money above everything else.

It's not going to be the same type of life on the road, but sounds like you're focused a lot on whats missing instead of what's magic about the experience. If you're still on the road... you can walk down 20 new streets today that you'll likely NEVER walk down again. You can get drinks at a dozen different bars for the first time in your life... you can meet a new person who becomes a close friend or a new lover... maybe those things aren't "having a life" to you but they're damn sure LIVING!
