Agree. About 10 years ago I spent a summer in cape town and I came home using bar soap and slicing blocks of cheese... two things I still do to this day! Grateful for those life upgrades ... or reversals back to a better/more authentic version of things. (I used to use body soap and buy sliced cheese... if that wasn't entirely clear.)
