5 Bits of Life Advice Worth Sharing

My favorite pieces of advice from the “Bob King Memorial Advice Section” of my Substack Newsletter

Bob King is my Dad. He’s the best. I mean, just look at him.

Just look at this legend. This photo is from my older brother's recent wedding.

He’s also the best at giving advice, which is why I named the advice section of my Substack after him. Maybe the words proficient, consistent, or overwhelming are more accurate than “best” regarding his advice-giving prowess.

He’s the Lebron James of giving advice. It’s been a long and impressive career. As a family, we’ve joked for years that “food goes in, advice comes out.” I don’t think I’ve ever left his presence without him saying “Wear your seatbelt.”

It’s his version of “goodbye.”

Now that I’ve turned the corner on 40, I like to think I’ve acquired some wisdom worth sharing as well. I am my father's son after all.

Everyone is dealing with aspects of life that are challenging, stressful, or confusing, and I’m hoping these ideas below help to bring a bit of clarity or perspective.

I’m not sure what you’re dealing with or what you might be trying to unlock, but I hope you find a small key below.
